The 'new scope' here, looks to be a Dall-Kirkham, with a field flattener.
Probably where the 'DK' comes in the name.
Seems a bit 'odd' to compare it with an RC, without a field flattener
fitted though...

Good for you! You caught my sarcasm. The comparison is indeed a "bit
odd". Downright misleading, I would say, wouldn't you?

And these guys were Celestron's top two optical designers no less.

But then, of course, anyone with any optical knowledge at all would
catch this just like they would know Meade is not selling "Hubbles for
the consumer backyard" or "pure RC's". Sky & Tel was able to figure it
out in their glowing review of the Meade RCX--I assume you did too
unlike long time RCOS engineer, Dan Azari who claimed under oath in
the Meade lawsuit that he "was duped by Meade".

I have almost doubled my investment in Meade stock since the initial
lawsuit craziness last fall. The stock will double again when this and
the stock option craziness are favorably resolved, which they both
will be in due course. Stay tuned--you read it here first.



With SEC looking into Meade accounting practices and Meade stock price
in a downward spiral? If any body sounds like a Meade apologist it is

Umm, no, Meade stock has almost doubled in the last three months since
shortly after this Meade nuttiness started--not much of a "downward
spiral". Don't know much about investing or law either, do you?? Check
it out ( if you know how ).

Bet you are also fantastic on forecasting whether it might rain--if
you walk outside first and get wet.

BTW, what does "No matter the post Meade is better" mean? Pretty much
unintelligible to me. "Better" that what??
