Well, I've DEFINITELY used up an extra hour of electricity already this
morning, and I drove my autistic kid over to catch the bus up to "New
Hope Village" in the dark.
Just from a personal standpoint, I love the night, even though
everyone knows (or feels,) that bad guys, along with bogeymen and
monsters, disappear when it's light out. While I don't play golf, I do
like target shooting, but I seem to find plenty of time when the Sun's
up without DST. And in the middle of the Summer, when the "realm of the
galaxies" is swinging across the sky, it doesn't get really dark with
DST until around 11:00 pm.
