Guys
(I hope this is the right NG, apologies if I'm off topic)
At the minute in the UK there is a star that appears to be the first star
that is visible at night and appears at around 45 deg above the horizon in
the west. This star soon drops off behind the horizon (typically now
21:53
BST) and is intensely bright
What star/planet is this please ?
The planet Venus. Sets (if you are in London) at 21:47.

Don't be so humble - you're not that great!
