"May 19th wasn't selected by accident. On that night the twins of
Gemini will appear to stand above the western horizon for Northern
Hemisphere observers, and the Moon and Venus - just 2° apart - will
adorn the waist of Gemini's western twin Castor. Saturn gives the
constellation Leo a bright beige nose all night long, and Jupiter will
appear late and stay low in the southern sky for those in mid- to high-
northern latitudes. "
Unapologetic astrologers with telescopes passing themselves off as
astronomers'.
I leave you to this mockery of a rich Western astronomical tradition
for your photographic/magnification exercise,if the joys of the true
astronomical insights were not so rich and so magnificent I would not
come here day in and day out trying to get others to share that
Western heritage and to stop it lapsing into a celestial sphere peep
show.
Not one single person, not one individua here l has ever objected to
the situation where so much is destroyed for so little,as you go to
your 'star parties' and rob celestial arena of its scale and
magnificense through a puny optical exercise, the works of the great
structural and timekeeping astonomers remains in ruins for your lazy
hobby.
