The magnitude of meteor that can be recorded depends on a variety of
things besides the sensitivity of the camera, including the angular
speed of the meteor and the sort of lens you use on the camera.
Although the lux ratings for cameras are not well standardized (you
can't accurately compare camera sensitivities with this value), 0.02 lux
is not a terribly sensitive camera. A very good camera for meteor
capture is the Supercircuits PC164C. With a fisheye lens this will catch
meteors down to about magnitude 1-2. With a narrower field lens the
sensitivity will increase, but you are more likely to miss meteors.
Cameras like the Stellacam offer no advantages for meteor capture work
(but are considerably more expensive).
