@m37g2000prh.googlegroups.com:
Since there is no moderated newsgroup by that name, trying to call it
that will simply confuse people.
Only the idiots.
You been told over and over that people here don't want any part of your
pathetic Google Group. We also don't want Google Groups posters. Learn to
use a newsreader and your problems with Usenet just might go away.
Otherwise, quit spamming your group here - it's off topic, and we don't
care about it anyway. I choose not to allow NetNazis to control what I read
and what I post.

A: Because it disturbs the logical flow of the message.
Q: Why is top posting frowned upon?
I gave that group a shot...wrote the word damn as an exclamation,
speaking about telescopes,
and my post was deleted. I Immediatly left. I dont care for what
amounts to Quakerism either.
Moderators equal censorship, and while I can see taking out the
mentally ill and the hopeless
trolls, it almost always winds up going too far.
Damn Damn Damn....because I can....
Charles,
You read and agreed to a registration to Moderated sci.astro.amateur
which opens with the following:
"You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any
material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar,
hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening,
invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in
violation of any International or United States Federal law."
It is not a usenet group and operates by standards of accountability
and civility. Towards this end, a censored word filter is in place
which won't allow certain words. It permitted all over your post to
fly but did substitute **** for "damn." So what? The line had to be
drawn somewhere and it will not permit lots of words. They should be
fairly obvious to the submitter of a topic or post.
I was in the forum at the moment you posted your unnecessary rebuttal
attack that have chosen not to mention in the high ground and martyr-
laden post I am responding to here.
I believe you did the right thing in leaving Moderated
sci.astro.amateur. It isn't for everyone and it wasn't for you.
