While there was extensive coverage in the specialist media,
there was just about zero coverage anywhere else here in
Vancouver.
I suspect that totality at 0300 local time might have had
something to do with it. The last lunar eclipse here
(28 October 2004) was in the early evening, and the local
media went nuts.
It was a pretty good eclipse, despite the haze.
