Alpha Aurigids report - SF Bay Area

I went out to the hills south of Livermore CA this morning to see if the
predicted Alpha Aurigid meteor shower would take place. I got there at
2:50AM PDT. Beautiful warm summer night, clear, and waning gibbous moon
nearly overhead. Between 2:50 and 4, I saw two (suspected) Alpha Aurigids.
Activity picked up after that. Based on my notes (and it is tougher to write
under bright moonlight than I thought it would be) the peak happened before
4:30, as I saw 20 more by 4:30AM and ten more by 5AM. After that, only one
before I left at 5:30 (starting to brighten in the east).
