The idea of variable inclination of the Earth to the Sun and
subsequently inclination of solar radiation as the main cause of Artic
conditions is incredible in this day and age when it is possible to
look down at the region andf the planet from space.

An intelligent astronomer begins with a basic fact -at the Equator
there is no variation in inclination and daylight/darkness remains
constant through the annual orbital cycle of the Earth. The observed
hemispherical differences of apparent variation in inclination leading
to seasonal variations in daylight/darkness where they become extrem
at the geographical pole is due to the orbital motion of the Earth
rather than the pseudo-dynamic of variable axial tilt.

It is actually possible to see from space that the solar radiation/
orbital shadow boundary changes against fixed axial orientation
leading to the important working principle that the main cause for
Polar conditions relies on the length of time a location spends in
the orbital shadow of the Earth allied with local oceanographic and
other factors, the inclination of solar radiation being among minor
causes.

The Arctic region, just like *every* other part of the Earth, is in
sunlight exactly half the time over the course of a year.

As the Earth is round, axial tilt in any sense is not required for the
Sun's light to hit the Arctic and Antarctic regions at a shallower
angle, which leads to the same light being spread over a wider area.

And no one claims the Earth's tilt is variable. Every night, in the
Northern Hemisphere, amateur astronomers align their equatorial mounts
to the star Polaris, whether it is summer or winter. The Earth does
not tilt over from one way to the other, it stays rotating the same
way. Which is natural; the Earth is big and heavy, and if you look at
a rapidly spinning top, or a gyroscope, you will know it tends to stay
pointing in one direction, holding itself up when it seems it should
fall down.

But in *heliocentric* astronomy, the Earth moves around the Sun. A
circle, or an ellipse, is a plane figure. The Earth's axis, which ever
points in the same direction, is not exactly perpendicular to that
plane, the ecliptic plane. This is why we say the Earth's axis is
tilted.

And so in winter, this tilt points away from the Sun, and in summer
this tilt points to the Sun, *not* because the tilt *changes*, but
because the Earth, with its unchanging tilt, moves from one side of
the Sun to the other.

If you claim to accept and understand the heliocentric astronomy of
Copernicus, Galileo, and Kepler, how can you have trouble with things
like this?

The cause of hemispherical weather patterns,daylight/darkness
variations has nothing whatsoever to do with the Earth tilting towards
and away from the Sun and it is about time intelligent people actually
listened to what causes those variations and why your 'sidereal time'
framework is causing havoc with the ability to appreciate the
relationship between axial and orbital cycles for climatological
purposes.

The Earth does not keep the same face to the Sun every 24 hours as you
numbskulls have rigged it -

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1d/Tiempo_sid%C3%A9reo.en.png

Your justification for axial rotation through 360 degrees in 23 hours
56 minutes 04 seconds involved introducing a pseudo-dynamic of
variable axial tilt into the Equation of Time,a hoax called the
analemma -

http://www.transitofvenus.org/timezone.htm

The longitudinal change in the solar radiation/orbital shadow boundary
in accordance with Keplerian orbital geometry, where the Earth does
not,do you hear this, does not keep the same face to the Sun every 24
hours causes the variations in daylight/darkness experienced by those
who live North and South of the Equator.

You foolish, careless people cannot get around to recognising why it is
possible to modify Copernican reasoning in order to seperate global
climate modelling from hemispherical seasons whereas it is impossible
using your astrological 'sidereal time ' framework'.
