Re: Hey stop asking me how much my gear cost

Steve Paul was saying
I ride everyday it ain't raining cats and
dogs and the temperature's above 40F.
Turns out there's a lot more of them
than there are good observing nights
around here and the end is the same.
Peace, solitude, and a calming sense of
confidence, self reliance, and well
being.

I have owned one scope and one pair of large binocs, long term.
Astronomy is my "important" hobby, or escape, but as with you, there are
just too few clear, moonless, nights when I can stay up late and chase
my beloved dim fuzzies.
~SO~ I fall back on my other main escape and run out to the local
shooting range and see how close I can put the little holes together.
Much less demanding of weather conditions, moon phase, time, etc.
Still, it's astronomy that matters.
