Hey, I went to Google News to learn that it's a real news story!

I never post fluff but actual-factual stuff. It may be stuff, but it
is news. Like my #3 son sitting in Scottsdale tonight who grew up
here in ICity - his grandpa favorite and gramps just died. They
workshipped the poor cubs. Me? Its always been NY Yanks and
always will be. But my son. He sits in AZ, loves the diamond backs,
misseses his gramps and their Cubbies, so he calls just now asking:
"Dad what do I do!?". I cant go against Gramps. Cant go against
the Cubs. Cant go against the Diamond Backs. Hmmmm. My son,
you will just to have to work it out for yourself. I love you. Dads
can always escape indecision with: "I love you"!

Yes our astro hangout is Kaput. But it also affects people of every
size shape and description far and wide. Urbanisation in Iowa has
wiped every olkd family restaurant out. Joensey's was one of the
last ones. They had a meeting at Rockwell about it today! Likewise
at UI! Im not joking. This is serious stuff here!! The ICity Foreign
Relations Counsel will have to find somewhere else to go! Diplomats from all
over the world are screwed! Word has reached the UN in NYC! I could sit with a
pretty waitress cattering to me,
laptop on my table, sports on TV, and plan the night's work at
Pal-Dows, then up and out all on schedule; now everything is
screwed up totally. Joensey's is so crucial even the City of Solon
offered them $50k for rennovations but the owner turned that down. The owner
btw is one the coaches who took the Solon
girs basketball team to State champs lastyear, and the year before
that, etc etc etc. His wife a former Olympian (now reduced to smashing roaches
in front of Health inspectors)!

I have vented. Thanks for the support. But as you say all groups
have their favorite hangouts so what hits one hits everyone, in a
trivial way. If this was Vermont this NEVER would have happened.

We will survive. Maybe.

Phoenix, it's J.B.'s, and I have learned that near Atlanta, it's
Waffle House. Apparently Joensy's was it for this part of Iowa.

For those who have quit s.a.a. in disgust, I will point out that you
just can't get this kind of material anywhere else. And that includes
Cloudynights, Astromart, or Yahoogroups forums.

But I suppose my post is lost on those who have quit s.a.a. in
disgust, and I'm merely preaching to the choir again.
