For those interested in Dr. Robert Hazen's 2006 Teaching Company
course "Origin of Life" or his 2005 book "Genesis", I've created a
phpBB forum for friendly, in-depth discussion, one lecture at a time:
Not being familiar with Dr. Hazen's name, the titles of his course and
book led me to fear that this post was a spam for something that
promoted lies and confusion.
But a short Google search turned up
http://www.gmu.edu/robinson/hazen.htm
which shows that Dr. Hazen is engaged in legitimate research - he may
be the person responsible for a news item some time back about a new
theory that chemical reactions within clays may have played a role in
early organosynthesis. So he _is_ someone doing science - not, as I
feared, someone presenting unsound rationalizations for the literal
truth of one particular creation myth.
