how much (in percentage) do the mirror coatings deteriorate after

coatings in the lens corrector?
Mirrors in SCTs tend to be very robust if the tubes have been reasonably
well cared for. I've got one that's over 20 years old and the mirror
looks as good as new.
Correctors are pretty robust as well, but the coating will definitely
degrade if they aren't kept clean and get dewed up regularly, or get
certain acids, pollens, salts, or oils on them.
Problems with both the mirror and the corrector are going to be pretty
obvious. If the mirror looks nice and clean, and you can see the AR
coating on the corrector is fairly uniform, you have little to worry
about.
