Facing northwest, which way would I pan my binoculars from Algol to

Assuming mid-northern latitudes, M34 is about 5 degrees to the lower
right of Algol around midnight. The Double Cluster is similarly about
4 to 5 degrees to the lower right of eta Per.

Hi Brian,
I am in the mid latitudes. I will probably be looking at about 10pm.
In the star charts, m34 is Northwest of algol, and the Double Cluster
is Northwest of eta per.

If I am looking Northwest, how do I know which direction to look in
the sky using the star charts?
Thanks.
Bruce
