Very interesting. Thank you Mr Oriel for another great post!

The contemporary view of orbital motion is based on the idea that a
location will scribe an arc through 360 degrees via a line drawn from
the center of the Sun through the Earth as seen in this graphic -

That graphic is a component of a much wider version of flawed sub-
geocentric reasoning -

In short, contemporary views keep a location fixed to the central Sun
whereas actual observations determine that a location changes with
respect to the central Sun.Graphics tend to disguise just how dramatic
that change actually is -

An astronomer who is actually excited about solar system structure and
motion will ignore things like priority and who did what and go
straight to the new orbital component which explains so much. The
reason why a person at the Equator sees no change in daylight/darkness
over the course of a year while his counterpart near the poles sees
huge variations and subsequently major changes in meteorological
conditions (seasons). An astronomer who wishes to know what the actual
cause of the noon cycles are need only to seperate axial and orbital
components and then see how they combine,a dynamicists who clearly
wishes to see Keplerian motion affirmed oservationally can look at the
behavior of the orbital beacon provided by the Equatorial rings of
Uranus.
Most of all,it is an offer to make a fresh point of departure for
observational astronomers, something to bring focus back to a
discipline which now relies solely on magnification. The new orbital
component has to be seen as a major addition to restore the attention
of many who are tired of hearing these exotic theoretical novelties
(they will always exist anyway) foisted on the celestial arena,a
chance for our generation to turn things around and demonstrate that
politics, scientific or otherwise, has no place in astronomy.
