Astrometric Eyepieces

I'm looking for input concerning Celestron, Meade, and any other
astrometric eyepieces currently on the market. A bit of web surfing
revealed that the Celestron is a 12.5mm four-element Abbe Orthoscopic
while the Meade is a 12mm Modified Achromat. Does anyone know of any
performance or quality differences between the various astrometric
eyepieces? Does anyone have any experiences to share concerning these
eyepieces?

Thanks!
