guiding interval

I've just receive an AO8-L - until now, I've been guiding, on a relatively
decent mount (Vixen New Atlux) using 2 to 15 seconds exposures, mostly
because I am too lazy to really look for the best guide star, I am often
using a small (115mm) instrument with interference filters and I don't want
to chase the seeing. I understand I'll have to guide with exposures of
1/10th of a second to somehow fight that seeing with the AO8-L. A big
change for me...
Which exposures are you guys usually using for the guider?
