A New Astro-Physics Mak-Cass

Roland and Marj Christen unveiled a new Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope
at NEAF this morning. It is a 12"/305 mm Mak-Cass @ ?12.5; FL 3810
mm/105 in. The tube weighs 65 lbs. The new 'scope was mounted on the
"el Capitan" mount. No pricing was available. The "el Capitan" is so
huge that it looks like a caricature of a telescope mount. It would not
fit in my two-meter observatory.
