? heliocentric vs geocentric models ?

Hi,

first, apologies if this is the wrong forum for this.

I have been asked by a niece of mine if there is proof of the
heliocentric model for the solar system . She was told in class that
the geocentric model works equally well.

Any referances or website links would be appreciated . If theres a
better forum to ask this please let me know .
