At the Equator of Uranus there are no seasonal variations in
daylight/
darkness just as on Earth so figure the rest out from there as the
unique rotational orientation generates a great surface area that
behaves like the polar regions on Earth in the hemispherical
transition from winter to summer in terms of daylight/darkness
variations."
The full news release story attached to the video you use as evidence
for your theory says, and here I quote from (http://hubblesite.org/
newscenter/archive/releases/1999/11/text/)
I don't have a theory,I have the observations which support two 360
degree motions with respect to the Sun with the orbital motion around
the central Sun inferred. The orbital component and by 'component' I
mean a motion intrinsic to the planet over and above orbital motion
itself can be seen in that time lapse footage where ,despite
appearances, the rotational orientation (tilt) remains fixed in space
just as the Earth but the orbital motion of the planet causes a slow
and uneven turning of the planet with respect to the central Sun
therefore the dynamic for seasonal changes is not daily rotation but
in the specifics of orbital motion -
http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/1999/11/video/b
"The seasonal changes on Earth are caused by our planet's rotational
pole being slightly tilted. Consequently, the Earth's Southern and
Northern hemispheres are alternately tipped toward or away from the
Sun as the Earth moves around its orbit.
I am not going to throw good information after bad however about 1
minute 30 seconds into the usual 'tilting' Earth explanation as the
Earth moves towards the Equinox, the rotational orientation magically
'straightens' up in direct conflict with actual observations -

The actual and I mean actual time lapse footage of the Earth from
Solstice to Equinox shows what is actually occuring from a limited
point of view -

May I remind readers that this is actually explaining the second most
immediate astronomical experience after the day and night cycle -no
small matter !.it is also, using the same dual motions, explaining why
the natural noon cycles vary.
No doubt the people pursuing the 'theory of everything' would find
little interest in this matter but most people would genuinely like to
know what influences climate, what causes the seasons and the multitude
of other outriggers that branch from the core dynamics of the Earth's
daily rotation and orbital motion. The brand new explanation
incorporates a specific motion attached to the orbital motion of the
Earth where a planet will slowly turn through 360 degrees with respect
to the central Sun and this is where the 'tilt' explanation vanishes.I
have no doubt that graphics will play a major role in easing the
initial difficulties but most of all,it is the magnificent time lapse
footage of Uranus and its dual motions with respect to the central Sun
that carries the accurate premise and conclusion for why we experience
seasonal variations and why the natural noon cycles are observed.
Uranus is tilted completely
over on its side, giving rise to extreme 20-year-long seasons and
unusual weather. For nearly a quarter of the Uranian year, the sun
shines directly over each pole, leaving the other half of the planet
plunged into a long, dark, frigid winter."
The rotational orientation of Uranus is due to daily rotation just as
the Earth's rotational orientation is and daily rotation can only
generate day and night,it does not have a magical property to cause
the seasons. The explanation above omits what is occurring at the
Equator of Uranus where, despite its unique rotational orientation,no
variations occur much as at the Earth's Equator,at least in terms of
daylight/darkness variations and comparisons can be made with the
Earth which has more Equatorial-like properties where Uranus has more
polar-like qualities.
This may be as much about ignoring the specifics of a planet's orbital
motion as it is about the seasons or the natural noon cycle,it just so
happens that the dual 360 degree motions intrinsic to the planet
itself provide the dynamics for seasonal changes and replace reliance
on 'axial tilt'.
So in both cases the seasons are caused by axial tilt - *** which is
what you deny but the rest of us accept***!

I commended you for having your own mind but in the last response you
opted for a less satisfactory means to respond and even though I
grant you that weak move in allowing another to reply for you,the
damage is done. You should be aware that this is a major modification
from whatever side you look at it and I do grant you your wish to
remain with the older, limited and flawed 'axial tilt' dynamic for
seasonal change.
It is a matter of people not doing their jobs whether it is
climatological, meteorological, astronomical or any of the other major
disciplines and given that seasons are due to astronomical factors,it
is about time that people started to take this matter seriously.
