I've been doing newbie research on mounts for astrophotography, and I've
concluded what must already be well known and understood by most in this
forum:
Dude its all about the MONEY...you pay for what you get. You may want to
look at other peoples
astrophotos and see what they use. The biggest thing you should look for is
at least 180 tooth gear
and periodic error correction features.
