Just for fun, we should execute the CEO's of google, yahoo and msn.  They've
spawned the spam revolution with their email portals.

ISPs have no reason not to run a spam filter themselves. Mine does and
I rarely see more than one or two spams per day. I used to check their
virtual bin regularly but they never seemed to lose anything useful.
So I haven't checked it for years now. It can be done if the will is
there.

Odd how America is the source and provider of electronic sustenance to
the vast majority of spam-crooks. Anybody would think there was no
will to stop them despite them having taken over 95% of the Internet's
bandwidth with their crooked scams. I bet the Big3 knows all the
spammer's inside leg measurements, shoe sizes and sexual preferences.

Only America would tolerate this farce unless there is an ulterior
motive. Perhaps they use the spammer's outrageous waste of the
Internet to slow down or affect the system for their own (i.e.US
gov's) purposes? Their international economic competitors have to deal
with masses of spam so it keeps America safely ahead? Is spam being
used as a blunt virtual economic weapon against the 3rd world and the
emerging industrial nations? I'm presuming that the US authorities
could take out the spammers overnight if there was a sudden desperate
need for bandwidth. They just don't bother at the moment because it
suits their political and economic purposes not to. So the spammers
are secretly tolerated and act as the de facto agents of the US
government in its economic war with the rest of the world. A few token
idiots are taken out of the system now and then just to keep up the
appearances of maintaining control.

It's rather like heavily subsidising your own farmers then dumping the
unwanted produce on poor nations. This ensures you kill off local food
production and the many millions of supporting village communities
right across Africa. Eventually this cripples these countries by
destroying the sustainable fabric of their rural agricultural
economies. With local farmers unable to compete with the dumped
produce they eventually give up as their unpayable debts to the
fertiliser and seed companies continue to mount. Everybody in the
village, who still has the necessary mobility, moves to the mega-city
slums. It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.
