Re: SAA OBSERVING: NGC 6231, M7, and M4(?) before dawn



Thanks for your report. As a Southern hemisphere observer I tend to
take these objects for granted as they get to a high altitude for me.
M4 is easy for me in suburban skies with 10X50's but I do have to wait
till it is well above the horizon. I doubt I would see it at all at
the altitude you had to deal with.
