Re: Former astronaut: Man not alone in the universe

Again, I'm gone for a while, come back and Chris is still telling the world
he doesn't believe in God. What's your beef Chris? In fact, I have to
wonder what the mental problem is with those who appear to keep going back
again and again in posts, religious related or not, to proudly say they
don't believe in God. Well, so what. You either do if you do and you don't
if you don't. What does that have to do with this post anyway?

Personally, I'm still proud to have a firm belief in God and think those who
don't as "mentally deranged" as Chris P put it. An astronaut comes forward
and says we've been visited by aliens, is reputable, and is summarily
dismissed by a lot of you. I have to agree that it's a pretty far fetched
story, but what if there was a 1 in 10,000 chance that it was true? By
closing the door completely, I think it shows complete arrogance. Some of
you claim to be either scientists or science thinkers, yet the scientific
method itself has to sometimes start with a bizarre question. Just because
you can't prove something in a year, a hundred, a thousand, etc doesn't mean
the scientific method can't apply. The buck stops here in my reply.

"Chris.Bee" repeats like an old, broken record:

I'll die screaming at the CIA's surfing school before I'll ever admit
there's a god.....................
