Astoundingly, the charge laid against the driver of the other vehicle,
criminally negligent homicide, only carries a maximum penalty of two
years in jail, instead of life imprisonment in that state. It's time
to change the laws to send a stronger message to careless drivers;
whatever you do that costs a life that you should not have done is
murder.
