Musings on Nasa and the Concept of Truth.

The idea of controlling and managing so carefully the first
discovery of extraterrestrial life shows us the most harmful ignorance
plaguing the human race.

It's not just that withholding truth is a harmful event. But it's
the kind of universal truth this subject deals with. Whether
scientific, philosophical or religious this discovery defines the
Truth of our existence.

Orders of magnitude!

But the ignorance, the harm, comes from the idea that man is
best suited to control and guide....Nature. Or that natural
processes are to be feared. So man must take charge in topics
with such potential to effect our reality.

The idea we can use a pre-planned, rigid or dictatorial methods
to control a ...natural...system is the heart of the evils suffered
by humanity. We...the people...are a complex adaptive system
...we are a natural system. The truth provides a static attractor
for our democracy, just as genetics provides the same for
Darwinian evolution.

Nature needs genetics, selection and mutation to thrive.
We need truth, democracy and freedom to thrive.
The static, dynamic and chaotic must be in an
unstable equilibrium. Remove any one and we
have the twentieth century.

Reduce any realm and the system withers and dies.
It becomes weak and prone to destructive competition and
negative sum conflict. Wars, disease and countless crimes
against humanity can be blamed solely on the idea that man
can out-design nature through controlled societies and
dictatorships. Evil flows from the lack of understanding
of nature.

The animal instinct to do the same with this discovery shows the fear
of nature due to the ignorance of Her. It shows that the secrets
to our existence, the secrets of truth and Nature... are being held
by those that do ...Not... understand Her.

They fear nature, so they fear us.

But it is they that should be feared and controlled.

If Nasa is so concerned with this issue they should
simply speak the truth, and trust in nature. Doing
the opposite guarantees the disaster they fear.

In all things nature shows the way.

"Mossbauer spectra at two temperatures of a freshly slabbed
portion of a 2.09 Ga (Early Proterozoic) hematic chert stro-
matolite from the Gunflint Iron Formation
The sample investigated was freshly slabbed for the Mossbauer
transmission measurement, so the iron carbonate is interior
to the native stromatolite rock."
