Now that we're just two weeks six days from September 2, 2004, let us consider some of the more conspicuous upsides and downsides to the imminent Al-Qaeda attack(s) against the United States of America-attacks which could very well go nuclear, biological and/or chemical, God forbid. In this sense, the threatened nuclear attacks of September 2, 2004 shall harvest vastly fewer casualties than an exceedingly virulent, mutating level-4+ biological attack would from something like Ebola, et al military-grade viruses on the RNC convention, as against major train and subway stations, international airports, shopping malls, sold-out football stadiums, cruise liners, cargo ships, tourist attractions, ad infinitum. If that were to happen, then many 100s of millions-probably four to five billion-would die worldwide within a month of its orchestrated release on their crowded targets, especially where it is used against those in transit. And for this reason, notwithstanding their terminal criminal insanity, I sincerely doubt that even murderous Al-Qaeda fanatics want to kill all of their fellow Jihadists in the world and all of their Muslim families along with murdering everyone else on the planet. So it's unlikely that such a global killer WMD should be deployed by Al-Qaeda, at least not intentionally. Rather, the greatest threat is that Al-Qaeda shall detonate one or more suitcase nukes in major population centers here in the USA, and will also simultaneously supplement their nuclear genocides against the US with co-opted chemical attacks on several lesser US targets, such as those recently mentioned in the new, August 16th issue of TIME magazine. Come to think of it, I'm inclined to wonder if at least one of those suitcase nukes hasn't found its way into Tel-Aviv? Israel and the USA are joined at the hip, baby. Threats to the US are threats to Israel, and vice versa. When we say Judeo-Xian, we do not speak thus without passion. It's religious and it's socio-political. We know that every Jewish- and Xian- American holds Israeli soil just as dearly as we hold our own: else if not, then that traitorous gawd-damned infidel has absolutely no right to call his- or her-self a Jew or a Xian.
The only people who will truly be winners in this post-nuclear aftermath are those who're lucky enough else otherwise wise enough to be upwind and sufficiently distant afar off from ground zero to avoid direct exposure to the deadly radiation. But even we "lucky" survivors will be staring nuclear Armageddon right in the face, meaning we'll be living to face the reality of it. We'll know that our North American Strategic Air Defense Command has, by direct order of the President (either Bush or Cheney, I can not tell which), we have retaliated against every extremist Islamic state on the planet using the full fury of our nuclear arsenal-to the tune of megatons. And we'll all know that life on Earth will never be the same again. We'll instantly discover that our continued survival depends on safe, low-radiation sources of potable water more than anything else in the world. In remote locations, meaning several hundred miles or more from the nearest ground zero of a 10-kiloton blast, relatively safe drinking water will probably remain as plentiful it's usually been for that area, albeit post-nuclear effects on global weather patterns could cause natural water sources to increase or decrease significantly, or even drastically: Death Valley could become a lake, or even part of the Pacific ocean. And Lake Powell could become the new Death Valley. But the closer you get to ground zero, and downwind of it, then potable water will become scarce-worth its weight in gold in some places. Thus millions more will die not of radiation, but of simple dehydration. Fortunately, our military will help tremendously by aggressively rationing bottled water where it's most needed, but those without potable water in the first few days after the attack will surely die. In such cases, they're probably already suffering from terminal radiation sickness, such that potable water wouldn't help them in any case. They're dead meat.
Practically every survivor of the nuclear holocaust will have lost close relatives and loved ones who were living or traveling in the afflicted areas. And many who could've survived won't survive, because they will die of fright, literally of a terror-induced heart attack. Their hearts will fail them for fear-just like the Bible says. Undiluted TERROR wields the real potential for killing as many or more frightened souls around the world than the very nuclear strikes they're so afraid of. Those suffering from a heart condition will be the first to go.
Every grocery store shelf in the country might be stripped bare within 72 hours of the attack were it not for strict food-rationing under martial law. Fossil fuels, especially gasoline and diesel, will also be rationed. The price for a barrel of sweet crude could top $300 for the first few months after the attack, and the price for a gallon of gas will surely top $20. Needless to say, commerce will come to a complete standstill for the first few weeks after the attack. But on the upside, the daily quota of global air pollution will be drastically reduced, and for the long-term. The freeways and main thoroughfares will become crowded sidewalks. Bicycles will be hugely-popular. And the new economy which emerges like Phoenix rising from the ashes of its former existence will bear little or no resemblance to that which preceded it.
Electricity will be rationed, and will probably double or triple in price. Same with natural gas. Most of America's infrastructure will remain intact, and most services will continue to be provided-just at a higher cost, and in limited availability due to federally-imposed rationing.
Unemployment will surely top 50% for the first few months after the attack. But don't worry, most of those who're temporarily unemployed will be busy enough coping with day-to-day life in the post-WWIII world, as will those who're still working. The war is over in one hour, but the trials and tribulations of we survivors will have only just begun. Building our new global empire-which is wholly devoid of war-will take many decades at least.
Alternative energy sources, like solar panels, wind-powered and water-wheel generators, will quickly be bought up. But then the demand for generators will rise dramatically, so generator manufacturing plants will need to expand and hire more workers in the years to come, i.e., as oil prices slowly drop and the new economy springs slowly back to life in inverse proportion. Global dependence on oil will eventually wither away, but again, this will take many decades. So much more to consider, but I'll keep this brief.
MORE ON THE UPSIDE, those who hate the United States shall be silenced in a heartbeat after Al-Qaeda's nuclear attack but much moreso by the USA's nuclear retaliation. Extreme leftist traitors like those in the ACLU, NAMBLA, et al, they'll find themselves loathe to speak so much as one word in public from this point forward. And not just in this country, but globally, the whole world will have not ONE evil word to say against the USA. Yea, not even France will have so much as one slightly bad thing to say about our country from this point forward. Imagine that? Rather, know that the USA has the power to make it happen. And it is happening.
