It's fairly simple, really. The word of Jesus Christ is perfect and 100% infallible. What he says will happen, rest assured, that shall surely come to pass. This is evidenced by what he said in the gospel accounts and throughout the Apocalypse, and what has happened in the world since circa 100 AD when the last book of the bible was first copied and circulated among the ekklesias in John's hometown of Ephesus, and which in turn showed the early Judeo-Xian church that the last book worthy of the bible had been completed, so the New Testament was soon codified and added to the Old Testament which together forms the one Judeo-Xian bible.

For example, Jesus said:
    "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place . . . then (there) shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."-Matthew 24:14-15,21-22 AV [emphasis added]
The Abomination of Desolation standing in the holy place is homosexual marriage, plain and simple. And while obscure smatterings of homosexual wedding ceremonies have been going on for years, it wasn't until it made international headlines beginning in March of this year in San Francisco, CA, thereafter in Massachusetts et al states of the Union, because left-wing liberal judges and other elected government officials began sanctioning such egregiously abominable Anti-Xian "weddings" in their last-ditch effort to force homosexuality down America's throat.

So, all by itself this shows everyone that the worst tribulation ever (yes, even worse than Noah's worldwide flood circa 30,000 years ago) is absolutely imminent and unstoppable. It will happen because Jesus Christ said it will happen. And it shall happen imminently because Jesus Christ said it shall happen imminently.

Now, with that clearly understood, consider these things in light of extremely volatile current world events, including the razor-sharp division in our country between Republicans and Democrats who're now on the brink of all-out civil war. And to make matters worse, consider the widely-reported news concerning Al-Qaeda's quote, "next 9/11. 60 days before the election", and the widely-reported intelligence that Al-Qaeda has at least six or seven fully-operational Russian-made suitcase nukes comparable to the A-bombs which were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August 1945. Intelligence reports also tell us that Al-Qaeda has powerful chemical weapons which could prove to be very devastating if used on densely-populated and vulnerable targets. And worst of all, Al-Qaeda could have level-4+ mutating strains of military-grade biological WMDs like Ebola et al, which weapons could potentially wipe out 100s of millions and even billions worldwide.

61 days before the election scheduled for November 2nd is September 2nd. The WTC was in Manhattan. The RNC is in Manhattan. The Republican party is the enemy of Al-Qaeda, else they'd have attacked the DNC in Boston-which they conspicuously did NOT. And Al-Qaeda wants to get the biggest bang for the buck, meaning the highest number of primetime television viewers nationwide and around the world who'll be watching President GW Bush's acceptance speech on Thursday evening. It's difficult to imagine that Al-Qaeda hates us that much, but they apparently do as witnessed on September 11, 2001. They want to destroy America, and they're definitely going to try their level-best to make it happen by using their WMDs on us.

If Al-Qaeda should manage to pull off simultaneous attacks on several other key targets around the country, then all hell is going to break loose, and the United States will instantly retaliate against every bastion of Islamic Jihad in the world using the full force of our nuclear and top-secret weapons arsenal. The nuclear wing of our North American Strategic Air Defense Command will be on Defcon-1 alert well before President Bush steps up to the podium, and probably before Vice President *** Cheney is scheduled to speak on Wednesday. Anyone who foolishly imagines that the USA won't blow our enemies to Mars had better remember Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We are ready, willing and able to do it. We've done it before not once but twice! If Al-Qaeda cripples our nation even half as badly as they're intending to, then that'll be the green light for our military to use our own extremely-powerful and high-tech WMDs to globally-eradicate the Jihadist threat. We won't hesitate and the missiles shall fly.

So you see, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to connect the dots. Vain confidence has nothing to do with it. But, on a lighter note, I did enjoy your paraphrasing Dennis Miller concerning "bags filled with scum". As Americans, we must never lose our good sense of humor and hope for the future, even in the wake of global nuclear holocaust.
