Hanson makes a good point when he suggests that
Bob Kolker "fucks up" when he asserts that
Jews are 5.5 times smarter than other folks.

I suggest that the factor is much lower,
and in fact might be negative,
when one takes all factors into account,
particularly factors which have to do
with optimizing pleasure and minimizing pain for all peoples,
rather than instigating conflict for the purpose of
accumulating stuff that reduces the quality of life
for all involved.

In other words, does intelligence correlate with
success in instigating conflict and accumulating stuff,
or does it correlate with optimizing pleasure and
minimizing pain for all the objects within an environment?

By Bob Kolker's standard,
a pack rat has a higher intelligence that most other animals.
