Of course, we eat it after it has been passed through various vegetables and fruits.

I am reliably informed that the X family eats it fresh from the cow. Although they have, in the past, used it to grow the elderberries that form the majority of their non-*** diet.

Of course, many of the women who marry into the X family eat ***, too; but in their case, it is their own nice, small, pellet-like excrement. It's far daintier than the X family's custom.
