Question about planetary magnetic fields

If two planets magnetic fields touch, what happens?
I know that Jupiters magnetic field reaches Saturns orbit due to it
being blown back by the solar wind, but thats about all I can find. I
can not find anything that describes the interaction between the two
fields.
I also know that if a companion star were to sweep into the outer solar
system, and if it were equal to or greater than the sun in size, then
the solar wind produced by such an object could blow Jupiters
magnetosphere in our direction.
Distance from Jupiters orbit to Saturns orbit is approx. 651,000
Million Miles
Distance from Earth orbit to Jupiters orbit is approx. 628,000 Million
Miles
What would happen if Jupiters magnetsphere came into contact with ours?
In such a senario, Mars would be totally engulfed in Jupiters
magetosphere, as would the asteriod belt, and just barley, us.
Scarery still, what would happen when the heliopause of both stars
meet? Would they merge or push on each other or both (I see soap
bubbles when I think of this, and yes, I am crazy)
The binary institute puts forth a very convincing argument concerning
the possibilty of a binary companion to the sun, the data and the math
says its there.
If Mars was subjected to the rigers of Jupiter, could this explain the
evidence of past volcanic activity on a planet with no plate tectonics?
I would love to actually see a working model of the solar system
showing the interaction of all the planets magnetic fields in
relationship to the Sun. THAT would be a facinating model.
