Re: Dear Google

OK while I respect privacy,

However..........

If I were a company like Google, I could simply enforce the security
responsability that comes from monitoring the data passing through one
of my servers. Looking for viruses and whatnot, not to mention I would
have bought and maintained, not to metion provided access through said
servers to someone like yourself. AND paid the bandwith fees that come
with said access.

Privacy..........

From "Whom" exacty........

You said your mom could do a search and find your chats........

DID your mom do a search and find your chats, or maybe your
girl/boyfriend, or you husband, or wife?

So now its Googles fault your homelife sucks.......

If your standing on a street corner and your planning with your friend
about robbing the bank across the street, and a cop walks by, waits for
you to act, arrests you and says in court that he overheard you on the
street and that tipped him off. Is the case thrown out because the cop
violated your "privacy"

It does not matter where you go, what you do, where you chat or with
whom.........Theres an old saying and it goes like this.

"If you dont want something heard, then dont say it."

Everything that is said here is public........

Now think about the industry.........

I am willing to bet you ANY amount of money that your activities are
much more closley monitored thaN you think........
I used to work in the industry, every internet service provider has a
"cacheing" server used to speed up access to there customers most
activly used webpages.....thats part of the network structor, and your
NOT changing it. Without it, load times would be a lot longer than they
are.

Bet you didnt think of THAT huh.

Deal with your punishment, and remember, next time dont be stupid and
say something you dont want heard.

Rising-Star

Its nothing like that.

Someone once said: the US government archives all phone calls.
But they don't make them available to mother, that's what Google
does with chat, which ****I**** made from home. From home, and
along those lines. Google CANNOT touch it, nor Bush. Illegal
in the name of humanity.

OK

In the name of Humanity...........

Bush cannot be touched. I do not agree with it, but LEGALLY, in the
UNITED STATES, the commander in chief cannot be held accountable for
anything he does in the name of national security. Like I said, I dont
agree with it but thats the law. If Bush says he wants to see your
email or chat messgages because he thinks your a terrorist, guess what?
If the server is on US soil he is and theres nothing that can be done
without congress backing you up. Since the Republicans control
congress.....good luck with that.

The United States has been wiretapping international telephone cables
since the telephone was invented. WW1 and WW2 documenteries state this.

Cellphone. emails, screened for specific words.

Since 9-11 there IS NO privacy in this country that cannot be legally
compremised.

Bush 2 has proved that the voting system in America is screwed. His
brother bought him the first election by having his state screw up
there voting so even after Gore was declared winner bush STILL won.

In the second election there were computers in Ohio registering -x
votes.

How can you end up with a negitive amount of votes? Are they ant-votes?
and what happens if an anti-vote comes into contact with a vote.

So as you can see, our most SACRED power as a United States citizen is
even moot.

Drudge report was saying Jeb Bush(FL govenor that screwed up the first
election) may run to continue the Bush Dynasty......

If Google is posting things that are being chatted about on THEIR
servers, theres not alot you can do. see

If your the guy in the last panel......and you signed up.......guess
what

Read the terms of service yourself (and 99% of the world just clicks "i
agree" to, which IS legally binding, you did agree to sign up for the
GOOGLE service, and they have made it public that they do this), so the
legal leg you were standing on just got hit by a truck.

Working with internet service providers in the past I can tell you if
you click "I agree" its binding. I could not tell you the number of
dial up customers one company had calling in from frequent disconnects.
Not one of the read there terms of servcie which clearly stated there
was a 4 hour disconnect. Did they get refunds? Hell no. They agreed and
then used the service. Unfortunatly, so did you.

The only avenue left for you is to get a laywer and pray to god Google
missed something in there terms of service that you can use. They are a
BIG company with LOTS of money to hire very EXPENSIVE laywers. They
could drag this out for so long that by the time it hits court the
internet will be absolite and your point will be moot.

The lesson to be learned here is twofold. The first one is already
stated

"if you dont want something said. dont say it"

The second is a little trickier

"If you do not "read" and just click "I agree" to feed the greed, for
the app or game you need........."

The be prepared to pay for your short sightedness.............

If you were on my server, then the terms you would have agreed to would
have a clause in it saying that "I" lay claim to all data passing
through MY server regardless as to where it came from.

Double check and make sure Google doesnt......because if they do.......

Not to metion, they could pack up and move to an island in
international waters and then what?

WINMX did it, and with a few minor adjustments it will work regardless
as to where you are, AND since there not based in the US, they cannot
be touched for copywrite infringment. Only the end-user (you or me) can
be charged.

SPAM is illeagle in several states, yet you keep getting it. Why?
because it passes through a Korean server that the US has no
juristiction over. Therfor, it cannot be stopped except by the end
user.

The United States citizen fall into 2 catagories............
