Water on Venus.

So the sun was not as hot several billion
years ago in comparison with now.
If Venus had water it could lock much
of its carbon dioxide in its modern
atmosphere in carbonate rocks.

Does anyone have any links or
any references to the theoretical
feasibility or unfeasibility concerning
water on Venus many billions of
years ago?
