It seems to me that you "skim" through things that do not fit your
paradigm, and concentrate only on things that comfortably coincide with
your preferred worldview.
I skim everything when I have little time available. The
paper in question appears quite reasonable to me
though I don't have enough background to assess it
thoroughly. Since I was disagreeing with it, I didn't
see that as a problem.
I would consider further discussion if it
was highly focussed and less pointless.
That's your choice, but my answer was that I have no
problem accepting the findings of the paper you cited,
I just didn't find anything in it to answer the question
we were discussing. It relates to how the MACHOs
that have been detected are split between the LMC
and the MW halos, not their total mass contribution
in relation to the amount of dark matter needed.
