recital.

As there is no doubt this is true, exactly why do you want a "verbato
recital"?

Why is this different to the dozens of other things that are "no doubt true"
(such as the requirement for sub nanosecond accuracy in the atomic clocks)
but which aren't spelled out "verbato" ?

And where do you want it recited verbato? Will here do? If it will ...

"They have to use the data from thousands of samples to achieve the required
degree of accuracy".

There you go. Its undoubtedly true, and now you have a "verbato recital" as
well.

Well, you're right again. It's verbatim. But I only spelled it wrong
once, and you did it 5 times. And remember, I type very fast.
By verbatim recital, I meant an eyewitness recitation as to how this
data was treated.

I wasn't taking the piss. I didn't know what you meant.

But if you mean that you are hoping that somebody who actually works at one of these facilities reads this ng, you are probably out of luck. You could just phone one of the observatories or visit one in person; I am sure that they would be tickled to have somebody display an interest in what they do, and would be very helpful.
