Comets are, by volume, of significantly less mass than asteroids.
Thus an ELE might be maybe a two-mile diameter incoming asteroid.
Any worthy incoming comet which seriously kicks ass yet does not
extinct the whole human race might be three miles or more, given
nuclear submarines NORAD and other deeply-imbedded installations.
