so is the fact that not one of you star gazers has the balls or
ovaries to come forward. There are approx. 200 UFO sighting per month.
Am I to believe that not one astronomer in this collective group has

government is keeping UFOs a secret, or at least trying to keep them
from the population. I'm not bent on saying that there is some alien
race that's been traversing the planet but there is sure something
somebody doesn't want us to know about going on.

Aliens are impossible. We know this from the fact that real aliens
would conduct themselves in a very different way from what is
reported. Real aliens would first target the Web where they could get
all the information they wanted anyway. They would probable use
nanotechnology rather than go around in large spaceships anyway.
Speaking personally I would regard the existence of ET extremly
unlikely and the existence of a UFO ET as completely impossible.
Yes the military are doing things they don't want us to know about. It
is some military project or other. I think too that the military are
behaving in a incredibly reprehensive way. What they are doing is
denying UFOs whilst at the same time encouraging the freaks. This is
so that they can smear anyone they want.
I find the military mind completely detestable. I post in
sci.space.policy. Rand Simberg never argues with anyone rationally but
preferrs to smear. He has even called me a paedophile without the
slightest provocation.
They did of course run Abu Ghraib as well. I also think that there is
a conspiracy. I believe that negative results are often important in
science and I feel that it is important to discuss ET. Earth is rare,
we need to have some idea why.

Saying aliens are impossible is a very bold and broad and also flawed
declaration. Even if no aliens have been to Earth that doesn't mean they
don't exist. Alien, in the broad sense, doesn't have to be an
intelligent species. For all we know it could be some bacteria in a
distant star system. That would be alien, would it not?
they ixist they weould not be conducting themselves in a UFO manner.
There is one other argument which I think could be looked at and it is
this. If we observe the stars we do not find any evidence for
artificial structures. Dyson proposed the Dyson civilization. This
would imply an infra red star. Infra red stars do indeed exist, but
they are supergiants. They are not Dysons with a solid surface.
You also assume that an intelligent species would know what "the web"Of course they would know the Web. You don't imagibne their
is. They would have to determine it from another source or analyzing
stray wireless signals from Earth. I would figure that they would find
another collection of information first and start there and expand
outward. Assuming that they even care we exist.
civilization would not have gone through the same stages of technology
as ours. You seem to believe that it is possible to evolve some
technology which is completely incomprehensible to us without knowing
about things like the Web. Really this does not wash.
