Gandhi's people were not allowed to profit from the most profiting
businesses like the salt business and Gandhi strood up and walked to
the sea and gathered some salt illegally. He was arrested. He was
released from jail by the highest English representatives and was
brought directly from jail to the Royal caste for a negotiation. He
was given tea, and gadhi took out a tiny bit of salt from his pocket
