Thanks Robert. You have said pretty much what I intended to say
about analog/digital and about telos. Maybe I'll get around to
reiterating and expanding my take on teleomatic/teleonomic at
some point, but there doesn't seem to be any urgency.
It is important to realize that Dr. Wilkins is very much involved
in the battle against the forces of darkness in "the other place".
He does excellent work there, but like all soldiers, he sometimes
forgets that back on the home front, life goes on and that the
battle against darkness seems to us as more of a minor skirmish.
It is quite natural that Dr. Wilkins would sometimes become
peeved with civilians whose "loose lips" might inadvertantly
give aid and comfort to the "enemy".
