The question doesn't really have a meaning. Do you think it is useful to
have a word that includes celled organisms and biological viruses but
excludes computer viruses? If you do then call them "life". On the other
hand if you think we need a word that includes only organisms with cells,
then you could restrict the meaning of "life" or coin a new one.
