I'm minorly dyslexic at time:

The sentence, "Can the human species "wait up" for Darwinian evolution
i.e. without genetic engineering? If you answer "yes" than fundamentally
we have no major differences here except that I'm more pessimistic than
you are about the near human future."

should have read

"Can the human species "wait up" for Darwinian evolution i.e. without
genetic engineering. If the answer is "no" than fundamentally we have no
major differences here except I'm more pessimistic than you are about
the near future."
