    I am largely sympathetic to your opinion, but there is a lot we don't know
    yet so I still think it might be good that no radical political decisions in
    this regard has been made and applied yet.

    May be I'm getting old and conservative. %-}

    Partly inspired by MAD (cold war shaming acronym) I invented "EPT" (errudite
    ;>, eclectically Explanatory, perversely Pert, Terminology & thought tactic)
    and grasped mainly why and how people preoccupied in science or philosophy
    sidestep or are 'so senza' making sense of the lifetime challenges behind
    (such and other) "AEVASIVE" striving.
    In that acronym, for Ambiadvantageously Evolved Vexed Actention
    Selection (System) Involving Various Endoopiates, AS stand for how we
    think/emote/behave based on our individual repertoire of 'competing' (by
    means of mutual inhibition) whilst 'cheered' and 'booed' (by current and
    past environmental influences) "actention modules"; And AE refer
    specifically to the evolved results of 2 types of selective pressure:
    1.survival-enabling Opportunity
    2. synaptic hibernation imploring (so both genophenotyping & 'motivating' of
    a capacity to be selectively unconscious) Adversity [type traumatic
    situations - normally repercussively retained as insidious "CURSES" type
    memories].
