Googling on "ant evolution" yields 660,000 hits. Certainly there are
at least two or three with interesting information!
You might also check out the Pulitzer Prize winning book by Bert
Holldobler and E.O. Wilson. I'll let you do the mouse-click work of
looking this one up.
