I don't think it is a coincidence that the
main energy source is ATP
with AMP being the purine base adenine
And the 2nd main energy source is GTP
with GMP being the other purine base guanine.
This again suggests support for my 'purine world' idea
where A and G are the main bases, and the pyrimidines
(with their susceptability to UV caused dimers)
are less prevalent.
