Does anyone know of a rule for reproduction rate
that says that replication speeds up with environmental
temperatures?
For instance in very cold:
"Typically, bacteria in the permafrost are in a dormant state but we have
found that they reproduce very slowly and respire producing gases including
CO2 and methane when frozen," Dr Panikov said.

And IIRC bacteria in hot springs reproduce very quickly.
Comment?
