Zircons in 4.4 BYA Water?

In rereading the Astronomy article on atmospheric
models for early earth I came across this picture
caption:

"Australian Zircons formed in liquid water
4.4 billion years ago. This requires greenouse heating."

Does this also mean there were seas as early as
4.4 bya? And if so does anyone have any more info
on that?
