Why do you say that? In what sense are purine nucleotide tri-phosphates
better energy sources than, say, pyridine nucleotide tri-phosphates?
And how does being a better energy source provide an advantage?
And, do you have any evidence that nucleotide tri-phosphates ever existed
in a pre-biotic context?
