ADMIN: significant outage in July

Gang,

I'll be on a long camping trip with my family (and my in-laws. Oohhh.) from
July 3 to about July 10. While my brother-in-law is a major geek and
probably can't survive without net access for all that time, it seems
likely that I'll be offline for that time.

Since there's no backup moderator, this newsgroup will, at that time, fall
silent. The charter makes no provision for a sub, but if I could line one
up, what would the group think about it (I'm thinking here of trying to get
Dave Greig to handle it for that week, but of course, I haven't asked him
yet)?

Since we have a couple of (tentative) multi-week trips planned for the next
couple of years, it'd be a good idea to get something in place to handle
this situation.
