Let me respond to just the parenthetical phrase "(and enough SM)."

Are you saying that the conceptual construct I would wish to share,
and for which I was trying to lay little more than a first stone in
seeking to establish a single term is something you have had enough
of?

Are you meaning to imply that you are sweeping out, as trash, a
concept I clearly have not succeeded in making clear to you
(or anyone else) yet, because you think you already know that it is
wrong?

You may be typical of all who are hopelessly entrenched in some way
and incapable of allowing any new idea even to get broached, maybe.

I don't know for sure what you mean by "(and enough SM)."

When you ask questions, and allow me to answer, you give me an
opportunity to lay out something I have hardly even BEGUN to
communicate. But if by "(enough of SM)" you intend to say what
I would convey is foolish and a waste of your time, then you have
passed judgment on something that has hardly even been broached
yet; and, if I am reading correctly between the lines, you have tried
and convicted and by "(and enough SM)" have hanged the effort.

Not being sure if that is the intent, let me pose it as a question. Is
that what you meant by it?

I hope it is not. For if it were, then there might be those who would
listen to an effort by you to communicate something outside the box
some day, and would slam the box and not let your idea in, either.

For your sake, even if you have shut your mind to my mind, before
you have ascertained clearly what it would share with you, I hope
others will not do you the same way.

As for me, I am used to it. In several instances in my life I have
called down the wrath of superiors upon something I had done to
solve a problem an employer had, and then the plan I had put into
action not only worked but worked beyond even my own wildest
hopes for it.

Once I had a supervisor tell me he was going to fire me because of
a position I took that went all the way to the U. S. Attorney General's
Office, where some of the best legal eagles finally saw that it was
air tight, and my position on the issue was unassailable. If you would
like details, I will provide them to you by private email.

If your mind is ossified toward me, however, and I am a fool hanged
already, that is okay.

Oh, what about the supervisor. I didn't get fired, but later on he did.

In another case it took me six months of explaining a concept to a
friend with a PhD in philosophy before he came knocking on my door
one day and when I opened it he said, "My God, Gil, you are right!"

Those are anomalous instances. I am glad the supervisor dug in and
put me to the test. I am glad my philosopher friend strove with me
for months (in a friendly way).

I don't memorize and regurgitate well. That is interpreted by many
if not most people as an insult to their intelligence, whereas for me
to try to communicate much of anything with any person or group
is, I see it, a compliment to their intelligence.

I keep hoping the compliment is deserved.

But what the hell. I've run into people like him all my life. Most of
them just brush off my ideas, assuming they already know all there is
to know. In his case, and a handful of others, someone had the
patience to work with me.
