You seem to have gotten the impression that I had objected to your
quoting Newton without attribution. Not so. (And THAT particular
quote is familiar enough to everyone so that no attribution is called
for.)
I was simply calling attention to the fact that you had placed yourself
up there on the shoulders of "ye giants" beside Newton.
It is the "ego thing". It is not the "plagiarism thing". And it is
really not that big of a deal. If I offended you, I would be happy
to apologize.
